Norwegian defender Oda Johansen spoke ahead of her side’s Coppa Italia match against Juventus in the second leg of the semi-final. The Bianconere are up 2-0 in the first leg, so Fiorentina will need to win by more than two goals to advance within ninety minutes, or by two goals to send the match into extra time.
Here’s some of what she had to say:
“The easiest part has been the team – everyone has been very welcoming all the time. Also, the staff have helped me a lot to grow as a person, on and off the field.
“I think the most challenging thing is that it’s my first time living alone. I need to adapt to a lot of things. Before I had the comfort of my family living around me – things are different now.
“We’re really hungry to beat Juventus. I think we’re a good team and we need to show it this week, both in training and in video sessions.
“I think Juventus will focus on defending. I don’t think they’ll counter as much as normal.
“I have been more confident on the pitch, and also growing both tactically and physically. The coaching staff and fitness staff have done a great job.”
