ACF Fiorentina has announced that the club has signed Belgian national team player Sarah Wijnants on loan.

A striker born on October 13, 1999 in Leuven, Sarah began her career at Standard Liege, where she won two Belgian league titles, as well as making her debut and scoring in the UEFA Women's Champions League.

In 2017 she moved to Anderlecht and won seven league titles with the club, as well as playing and gaining experience in Europe's top competition.

Sarah plays for the senior Belgian national team. Her first goal for her country came in in 2021, and the new Viola player also represented Belgium at the European Championships in Switzerland this summer.

Sarah has signed a contract with Fiorentina until June 30, 2027.
