Coach Pablo Pinones Arce discussed the upcoming match, which will be decisive for securing the final Champions League spot.

“We’ve discussed the situation we’re in. As a team, we know that we can’t let what happened with Ternana happen again. We also make mistakes such as losing the ball without being under pressure; we’ve made decisions that went against us. We decided to work on these problems as well as discuss them throughout the week.

“Como are playing well. They performed well with their old coach and are still doing well with their new one. They’ve changed their tactics. They are ambitious, want to play good games and put their opponents under pressure. They’ve clearly obtained good results. It will be a difficult match, as is always the case.

“We need the right mentality and the team to give it their all. This needs to come from both players who have played a lot and those who have had less game time. It’s something that is always necessary, but now even more so.

“I’ve always been convinced that all players are crucial for us. Football is all about teamwork. Now we need to be mentally focused and ready to take responsibility for the team. If some players who have played a lot throughout the season are absent on Sunday, that’s just a part of football. I’m 100% sure the team will perform very well on the pitch.”
