Fiorentina Women have their final match of 2025 this weekend. They will be taking on Como, who are looking to consolidate second place.

Como are currently on excellent form and lie just a point ahead of the Viola in the table. Coach Pablo Pinones Arce isn't underestimating the challenge and is focusing solely on the game at the Stadio Ferruccio. The match kicks off tomorrow at 12:30 CET.

Here’s some of what the coach had to say:

“Como were very organised in their Women’s Cup game. They’re doing great in the league. As I said, they’re a well-drilled side and they play to their strengths. They play a lot on the counter, they move the ball around quickly and they’re keen to work hard. They’re doing really well and are full of belief.

“It’s too early to read too much into the league table, but we’re doing well. We’re focused on our next match and we’re taking things day by day, game by game.

“What’s great is that you can see that we’re improving with every game that goes by. Our belief is growing and we know what we’re capable of and what we want to achieve.

“Our mentality has changed since I joined and we’re on the up. There’s still things we need to work on – we need to be more aggressive in defence and more decisive up front. However, I think this will come. I’ve got full belief in the squad, the coaching staff and the club as a whole.”
