Fiorentina Women are set for another Coppa Italia semi-final double-header against Juventus – a repeat of the same last-four match-up that has taken place in the two previous seasons.
Last year the Bianconere progressed to the final, winning both legs (3-2 in Florence and 1-0 in Biella), while two years ago it was the Viola who advanced (1-0 at home, 3-1 away), before losing to Roma on penalties in the final.
Pablo Pinones Arce's team will host Juventus for the first leg on Wednesday at 18:00, with the away leg to be played on March 28.
This season the only meeting so far finished 1-0 to Juventus, albeit not without controversy: a foul on Benedetta Orsi in stoppage time was not seen by the referee and from the resulting play, the Bianconere scored the winner.
The second Serie A match of the season is scheduled for a 12:30 kick-off at Viola Park on April 4 at 12:30.
The other two-legged semi-final is between Inter and Roma.
