Sirigu joins the Viola. Gollini loan ended
ACF Fiorentina is pleased to announce that Salvatore Sirigu is now a Fiorentina player. The 36-year-old has been signed on a permanent deal from SSC Napoli.
Born in Nuoro, Sardinia on 12 January 1987, the well-travelled goalkeeper has plied his trade for Palermo, Paris Saint-Germain, Sevilla, Osasuna, Torino and Genoa, among other clubs.
Sirigu has 28 Italy caps to his name and was a member of the Azzurri squad that won Euro 2020.
Meanwhile Pierluigi Gollini has returned to Atalanta after his loan was terminated.
