ON THE SITUATION - "We know what our season is like. We know every game is super important for us. I worry week by week. The most important game of the season is the one against Sampdoria. I am optimistic, because we have great stats at the moment. We want consistency, that's the most important thing. There are a lot of things we need to improve on and we're working hard for this. But I think the team has shown the right mentality at the moment."

ON SAMPDORIA - "We want to win and put Sampdoria in a harder situation. Nobody is out of the relegation battle at the moment. Sampdoria are quick on the break, they are pragmatic. It's a difficult match for us, they are dangerous. Ranieri has incredible experience and has obtained great results, including avoiding relegation last season. For me he deserves the Panchina d'Oro 2019/20."

ON SCORING GOALS - "We are one of the teams that makes more crosses, so we need more players in the box with the right timing."

ON INDIVIDUAL PLAYERS - "Caceres has recovered from his injury, however Ribery is not available for this match. We know Kokorin still needs to improve. Amrabat has specific qualities, but we worked well during the week and whoever replaces him can do well, with his own qualities. Pulgar is in good shape, now in training we're seeing the best version and we hope to see it on the pitch as well, consistently. I think he's a great player, never had any doubts on this. Malcuit is improving, he has a positive attitude. Everyone has their own qualities - depending on who is picked the team will play in a certain way."

ON THE FUTURE - "I knew the risks when I re-joined Fiorentina, but I did it for the people, for the city. I will accept any decision come the end of the season. I am concentrated on the here and now, on the team, and my energy is focused on the team."
