CONFERENCE LEAGUE - “It’s another match where I can watch other players in action. This European match has come at the right time and, if we want to make a quantum leap, we must understand the beauty of having the chance to play every three days.”

CURRENT SITUATION - “Right now we can’t waste a single training session. Now more than ever, working well is crucial.”

TURNOVER - “What I can tell you is that [David] De Gea and [Edin] Dzeko will start.”

EUROPE - “My European debut is not important. Now there are other things we must focus on.”

AEK ATHENS - “They’re a very proactive, attack-oriented team. They have wide players. [Marko] Nikolic’s team knows very well that anything can happen in the Conference League. There are many ambitious teams in the Greek football league.”

AMIR RICHARDSON - “Players who give it their all in training will always get a chance with me. We need everyone’s contribution.”

ALBERT GUDMUNDSSON - “He has the right qualities; he’s an important player for the team. I believe that he will deliver in a big way for us.”
