There's a brand new format for the women's Primavera championship this season. Instead of regional groups there will be two leagues – Primavera 1 and Primavera 2 – with promotion and relegation between the two.

Fiorentina are one of the 12 teams in Primavera 1 and will travel to Lombardy to play AC Milan in the opening game on 18 September. The Viola's first home fixture is then against Napoli on 25 September.

Further big matches await in Weeks 3 and 5 (away to Inter and Juventus, respectively), while champions Roma – beaten only by Fiorentina last season – will provide the opposition in Week 11.

At the end of the regular season, the top four will face off in the finals to determine the champions, while the bottom two will go down to Primavera 2.
