ACF Fiorentina is delighted to announce that Danila Zazzera has returned to training with the Viola squad in San Marcellino.

Zazzera has been given the green light to return to training following her heart surgery.

“I’m pleased to be back in the city of Florence, which welcomed me when I was 18,” she said. “I was here when I discovered I had a heart problem and now I’m back here to start this new chapter. It’s been a difficult few months, but my determination to get through it helped me overcome my fear of the operation and the hard work of rehab. I want to thank everyone who has supported me throughout this journey. I now want to get back into the best possible shape so I can play in a competitive match once again.”
