Twelve Fiorentina players called up for international duty

Twelve senior Fiorentina players have been called up for international duty by their respective national teams.

Bartlomiej Drągowski has been selected by Poland for their FIFA World Cup 2022 qualification games against Albania (Warsaw, 2 September), San Marino (Serravalle, 5 September) and England (Warsaw, 8 September).

Sofyan Amrabat and Youssef Maleh are both in the Morocco squad for their FIFA World Cup 2022 qualifiers against Sudan (Rabat, 2 September) and Guinea (Conakry, 6 September).

Lucas Martinez Quarta and Nicolas Gonzalez have both been selected by Argentina for their three FIFA World Cup 2022 qualification games against Venezuela (San Cristobal, 3 September), Brazil (Sao Paulo, 5 September) and Bolivia (Buenos Aires, 9 September).

Matija Nastasic, Nikola Milenkovic, Aleksa Terzic and Dusan Vlahovic have all received call-ups to the Serbia squad for a friendly away in Qatar on 1 September, followed by two FIFA World Cup 2022 qualifiers against Luxembourg (Belgrade, 4 September) and the Republic of Ireland (Dublin, 7 September).

Erik Pulgar has three FIFA World Cup 2022 qualifiers to look forward to with Chile, who take on Brazil (Santiago, 2 September), before travelling to face Ecuador (Quito, 5 September) and Colombia (Barranquilla, 9 September).

Newly crowned European Champions Italy have selected Cristiano Biraghi and Gaetano Castrovilli for their FIFA World Cup 2022 qualifiers against Bulgaria (Florence, 2 September), Switzerland (Basel, 5 September) and Lithuania (Reggio Emilia, 8 September).

Last but not least, Alessandro Bianco has been called up to the Italy U20 squad for their matches against Poland (Lomza, 2 September) and Serbia (Castel di Sangro, 6 September).
