Aleksandr Kokorin had further tests today after continuing to feel some pain in his left thigh, which first emerged during Wednesday’s match against Roma. The tests revealed a minor strain of the rectus femoris muscle. 

The player has begun a treatment programme and will be reexamined over the coming days.
