Fiorentina can confirm that German Pezzella sustained a sprained right ankle in the first half against Udinese on Sunday. The player will be monitored closely over the coming days.

Pol Lirola was also forced off in the game, with the Spaniard sustaining a knock to his right ankle. 

Franck Ribery is still recovering from the muscle issue he picked up during the match against Spezia last week.
