Stat attack: Viola unbeaten in eight games against Udinese

21 October 2020
  • Fiorentina are unbeaten in eight Serie A games against Udinese (five wins, three draws), keeping clean sheets in five of those games. Udinese’s last league win over Fiorentina was back in April 2016, when Luigi De Canio’s side won 2-1.
  • Fiorentina have won all of their last 12 home games against Udinese in Serie A, their second-longest home winning streak against any team in Italy’s top tier. The Viola’s longest-ever run of consecutive home league wins is 16 against Cagliari between 1982 and 2010.
  • Only Juventus (35) have more home wins against Udinese in Serie A than Fiorentina (29).
  • Fiorentina have won three of their last four home games in Serie A.
  • Three of the eight goals scored in the first five minutes of Serie A matches this season have been scored by Fiorentina. That’s two more than the Viola managed in the first five minutes of games in the whole of last season.
  • Fiorentina have had six different goalscorers this season, which is more than any other team aside from Atalanta (eight) and Napoli (seven).
  • New Fiorentina signing Jose Callejon has participated in seven goals (three goals scored, four assists) in 14 matches against Udinese in Serie A.
  • Gerard Deulofeu scored his first Serie A goal against Fiorentina in February 2017, when he was an AC Milan player. In coming off the bench in Udinese’s last league game, the new Udinese signing made his first Serie A appearance in 1,246 days, since AC Milan v Bologna in May 2017.
