Coach Beppe Iachini previewed the clash against Spezia, the first match after the international break, in Round 4 in Serie A.

The coach faced reporters in the press conference, underlying how he believes this group of players can grow and reach increasingly better results.

"I want to get the best out of my players, in order to see Fiorentina achieve great results and improve," Iachini told journalists.

"Callejon has experience and quality. I called him on the phone, and he was convinced to join. I specifically wanted him.

"We don't play 3-5-2. If you look at our matches, we often move to a four-man backline. This is modern football. When in possession we have a four-man backline, and so Callejon will be able to push forward.

"We have to continue working hard, especially with the new players. I am convinced that this group of players can do well and excite our fans - with positive football and being productive up front.

"Pezzella, Ribery and Castrovilli are all available to face Spezia. Borja Valero still needs to recover.

"I am happy with the squad I have - I am convinced that through hard work we can reach positive results.

"The one against Spezia is the most difficult game for us in this moment. The transfer window is over, so it's no longer a distraction. Spezia have all trained together the past two weeks, Italiano is a good coach.

"I want the team to be focused and concentrated, in order to get results like we did in the summer," he added.

The coach spoke about new signings Lucas Martinez Quarta, who arrived on Thursday from Argentina, and Antonio Barreca, who was unveiled on Friday.

"Both players will be part of the squad travelling to face Spezia. Martinez Quarta has great qualities. Let's give hime time to adapt to a new world. Barreca has interesting qualities. He needs to improve on his physical strength. He is working with us and we believe he can give us a great hand," he explained.
