Fiorentina’s centenary also celebrated by the philately of the Republic of San Marino

Fiorentina’s centenary has also entered the history of philately in the Republic of San Marino: to celebrate the Club’s 100th anniversary, Poste San Marino created a special stamp issue, presented on August 29, 2026, the symbolic date of the founding of the Viola club.

A minisheet featuring four stamps, each valued at 1.35 euros and issued in a print run of 20,000 copies, celebrates the history, passion and deep bond that have united Fiorentina with its city and fans for a century.

At the center of the issue is a soccer player wearing the historic purple jersey, alongside the lily of Florence: two iconic elements that capture the identity of the Viola and its unbreakable bond with Florence in a single image.

The initiative by Poste San Marino pays tribute to a century-long history, a passion passed down from generation to generation, and a bond that the passage of time has made even stronger.
