From August 23 to September 13, the Michelozzo Courtyard of Palazzo Vecchio hosts "A Hundred Years of Fiorentini. Inside and Outside the Stadium": thirteen photographs from the Locchi Photo Archive that narrate the Centennial from an unusual perspective, not the champions or trophies, but the city that has accompanied its team for one hundred years.

From the 1930s to the mid-1990s, the images follow the violet Sunday through the streets, on trams, at Campo di Marte, and up to the stadium. A collective ritual made of waiting, meetings, and gestures as meaningful as the match itself. There are families, neighborhoods, and the city's changes over the century, with clothing, postures, and the way public space is lived evolving alongside Florence.

The photographs belong to the Locchi Photo Archive, protected by the Ministry of Culture, comprising over five million shots and about three hundred thousand digitized images on the city's history. The exhibition, promoted by ACF Fiorentina with the patronage of the City of Florence, shifts the focus from the field to the stands, because the violet century is also made of those who lived it, generation after generation.
